Shauna Ries is co-founder and an investor for Mediators Without Borders and Arbitrators Without Borders. Ries and her team created the INACCORD conflict analysis model and has graduated over 2,000 Certified Mediators & Arbitrators, serving hundreds of disputants in over 20 countries. Ries has served on faculty for Omega for over a decade. The Mediators Without Borders curriculum is now offered in over 900 Universities. Ries is the lead author for In Justice, INACCORD, Touchstone Skills for Authentic Communication, and Quality of Life. As Ries cogently argues, only when people reveal their personal truths through empathic engagement-along with authentic sharing perspectives in the search for justice-can conflict resolution proceed toward an acceptable solution for all.
