Retired Judge Ted Haynes is overseeing quality control and oversight of the professional mediators and arbitrators who will deliver Mediators Without Borders services to organizations. He is actively involved in the Federated Insurance pilot program in Florida where he is a Supreme Court Certified Mediator and Arbitrator. Ted served for over two decades as a Federal Administrative Law Judge with the Social Security Administration. Upon retirement in 2006, he transferred his experience into a career as a certified arbitrator and mediator working for organizations including: Mediators Without Borders, Arbitrators Without Borders, American Arbitration Association, International Mediation Institute, International Institute for Conflict Prevention (CPR), Council for Better Business, Inc., and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Dan Jablonka

Position: CEO

Dan Jablonka joined the Mediators Without Borders, Inc. team as an investor and Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for securing the capital raise, identifying and hiring key personnel, and transitional planning as the company moves into early growth operationally. Jablonka brings experience in corporate governance and planning of mid-sized companies as partial owner and former Chairman of Board of a family held business, Glenroy, Inc. Glenroy has been delivering innovative packaging solutions to both national and international customers for over 50 years. Dan also has entrepreneurial experience as the founder and CEO of CirTerra, LLC, a custom mapping company in Denver.

Position: Chairwoman of the Board

Shauna Ries is co-founder and an investor for Mediators Without Borders and Arbitrators Without Borders. Ries and her team created the INACCORD conflict analysis model and has graduated over 2,000 Certified Mediators & Arbitrators, serving hundreds of disputants in over 20 countries. Ries has served on faculty for Omega for over a decade. The Mediators Without Borders curriculum is now offered in over 900 Universities.  Ries is the lead author for In Justice, INACCORD, Touchstone Skills for Authentic Communication and Quality of Life. As Ries cogently argues, only when people reveal their personal truths through empathic engagement -along with authentic sharing perspectives in the search for justice -can conflict resolution proceed toward an acceptable solution for all. 

Genna Murphy

Genna Murphy

Position: Board Member

Genna Murphy developed the INACCORD model in conjunction with Shauna Ries, and is instrumental in the day to day running of the training for over 2000 professional mediators and arbitrators. Genna is responsible for tracking the growth of Mediators Without Borders, and has developed a five-year plan of national expansion. She also manages vendor relations, as well as the company's signatory partnership with the United National Principles for Responsible Investment. Genna hails from a business and psychology background, and ran a private psychotherapy practice for twenty years in Boulder, Colorado.
